Here is an example of the type of money you can save. If you purchased a 95% high efficiency furnace with an ECM Motor today, and you were to take advantage of the rebate available, you would receive $250.

While rebates are a good thing, they shouldn't be the only thing to consider. Rebates can be a great incentive, but occasionally, a unit with the highest rebate may not be the best solution for your home. There are other factors that need to be considered, as you will have to live with your decision for the next 20 years. For example, some high efficiency air conditioners are not as quiet as other models that don't qualify for rebates. If that's an important feature for you, then you might want to forgo the rebate on that item to improve the enjoyment of your outdoor space.
